The Postman’s Round?
Leader: Peter Foulkes
Distance: 7 km, with 2½ km on road or lane
Climb: approx. 250m, steep in places
Time: 10.15am for a 10.30 start
Location: Car park below The Star Inn, Dylife, SN 861 941

We pass The Star and drop into the Twymyn valley, heading for Pennant. Just before reaching the village a minor lane takes us back up the valley before joining the bridleway which labours back up to the Dylife mountain road. Now with just a twenty minutes walk along the road, from which we can take in one of the finest motoring viewpoints in Montgomeryshire, we are back at the starting point, and perhaps refreshments? But did we deliver the post?
