CMS responds to WG consultation on extending permitted development rights to micro-hydro schemes

The Welsh Government has been consulting on consolidating planning regulations, under the full title “Consolidation of the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 and Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995”.

One of the proposals is that permitted development rights be applied to micro-hydro schemes (i.e. planning permission would no longer be required) and CMS has submitted a response to this.
