“DNS” proposals – CMS responds

The Welsh Government has been consulting on proposals to establish a new system which will allow it to process “Developments of National Significance (DNS)” – a new category of planning application. If implemented, the system would take away from Local Authorities planning control for certain developments not big enough to be fast-tracked through UK government as a “major infrastructure project”.
